Tsukasa continues his performance, his movements described by Inori as smooth, fast, delicate, yet strong. As he watches, a suspicion grows in Rioh that when it comes to skating alone, Tsukasa might be better than Jun Yodaka. Reaching the part where Rioh attempted a triple, Tsukasa pushes himself to execute a Single Axel, followed by a Flying Camel Spin, showing off his long legs just like he once did as an ice dancer.
Hitomi shares her past as Tsukasa's partner with Rioh, recalling the unparalleled "thirst for the rink" he possessed. That drive compelled him to seize every opportunity and continuously expand his skills, despite his late start. Though his career was ten years shorter than hers, he still managed to reach the All-Japan Championships alongside Hitomi, an accomplishment she finds truly remarkable.
Rioh watches earnestly as Tsukasa concludes his program, after which he immediately shifts gears and leads the students in ice repair. Inori cannot contain her excitement over Tsukasa's performance, but Miketa found it boring due to the lack of jumps, while Rioh is in no mood to talk. He approaches Tsukasa, working quietly by his side.
The next morning, Rioh comes to the rink early to meet Tsukasa. With a bow, he hands over his goal sheet. Reading the sheet, where Rioh has written down "triple + double combo," Tsukasa is moved to tears. With newfound respect and sincerity, Rioh tells Tsukasa that he's looking forward to camp with him, addressing him as "Coach."
The next instant, a loud bang comes from outside — a truck has broken down with a blown tire. When Tsukasa runs over to help, he recognizes the driver. Tsukasa thanks him for coming, and they are both glad to see each other. Rioh, now protective of Tsukasa, steps between them, only to be told that this person is invited to provide special training at the camp.
