Story[]
This chapter is a spin-off story set in a world where everyone possesses magical abilities. The closer one is to a beast, the more miraculous their magic becomes.
King Koichi Kago assigns Warlock Tsukasa the task of dealing with demonic pigeons threatening the kingdom, a mission he eagerly accepts. However, the kingdom enforces a rule requiring warlocks to be accompanied by a swordsman on quests. Following a lead, he meets Inori Yuitsuka, a young novice swordsman assigned to him.
Inori asks Tsukasa to cast a "Limit Break" spell on her to enhance her abilities. When he does so, she gains a magical outfit and feels empowered, realizing she can wield magic gear again. Inori uses a special attack, "Flying Sit-Spin Sword," to defeat the enemies. The demonic pigeons are returned to their normal form, and the threat is neutralized.
After the battle, Inori expresses her gratitude to Tsukasa, thanking him for believing in her talent. However, Tsukasa is shocked to learn that Inori has been assigned as his permanent travel companion, an arrangement he struggles to accept, unwilling to have a child forced to serve him.
Meanwhile, in the evil lair, Hikaru eagerly anticipates play with a certain girl, while Jun grows bored.
