Tsukasa and the Sushi (Japanese: 司とお寿司 Tsukasa to o Sushi) is the second Short Program chapter of the Medalist manga.

Tsukasa has been struggling financially since becoming a coach and has to work multiple part-time jobs. One day at a convenience store, he runs into Koichi Kago, his former boss and landlord who has also moved from Yokohama to Nagoya. He invites Tsukasa to dinner with his daughter Yoh, and quickly realizes that Tsukasa is broke despite once claiming he had savings, still wearing the same worn-out socks that Koichi had previously thrown away for him.
Koichi blames himself for letting Tsukasa go when he was in such dire straits. They begin to argue, with Tsukasa insists he doesn't want to bother a stranger and Koichi retorting that he's not a bother. Their back-and-forth is interrupted when Yoh grabs a massive parfait, only for the strawberry on top. Seeing this and realizing how Yoh has also only eaten the sushi toppings while leaving the rice, Tsukasa grows flabbergasted, only to then discover Koichi doing the same.
