Kiyoka Kosuzume (Japanese: 小雀 白花 Kosuzume Kiyoka) is a figure skating athlete from Yamabiko FSC. She is first introduced as a seeded skater at the All-Japan Championships.
Profile[]
When she entered elementary school, they showered her with gifts, like the end of a fairy tale. Her two grandfathers always compete with each other to buy her expensive stuff, much to the annoyance of her parents.
The gift that vexed them the most so far: A mountain with lots of wild edible plants to harvest, willed to her by an unrelated old man from the next town over.
She has natural gifts for skating, recovering quickly and building new choreography in a flash. In one Novice B block event, the wrong musical track was played for her, but she skated to it anyway and won first place.

Story[]

Kiyoka's dream
Kiyoka first appears in the story as a seeded skater, placing second in the Tohoku/Hokkaido Block Tournament. She is shown dreaming of her grandfather, who built a skating rink for her, before being awakened by her coach Jo Hitaki. She is sad to learn that she slept through Reilly Foxx's TV program, but is happy that her grandfather will be able to watch her at the All-Japans this year.[1]
At the All-Japan Novice, Kiyoka skates in Group 2 and scores 102.44.[2]
The following year, Kiyoka is seen at a training camp in Osaka held by the federation, and later at the All-Japan Junior.[3][4]
