Story[]

Shoya has been friends with Rintaro Chiwa and Atsushi Wani since their skating days. Now, all three have moved into the coaching field, with Shoya working as an assistant coach at Meikoh Wind FSC.[1]

Shoya first appears in the story during the Chubu Block Tournament, where he is seen gifting bouquets to the Meikoh girls after their performances and addressing them as "princess."[2][3] After the competition, Shoya has dinner together with Rintaro, Atsushi, Tsukasa Akeuraji, Shinichiro Sonidori, and Seiji Gori. When their topic arrives at Yuna Yagi, Shoya attributes both her and Hikaru Kamisaki's success to the support system Shinichiro has built at Meikoh, unaware of Jun Yodaka's secret involvement with Hikaru.[1]

He appears again the following year at a training camp in Osaka, and is later seen receiving a call informing him of Hikaru's transfer out of Meikoh.[4][5]
